Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will contribute to commercial construction projects by waterproofing concrete foundations. You will work closely with a crew of 1-3 people, transporting waterproofing materials, digging holes, moving dirt, and assisting your team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work on commercial construction projects waterproofing concrete foundations.
  • Collaborate with a crew of 1-3 people.
  • Transport waterproofing materials to the site.
  • Dig holes and move dirt as part of site preparation.
  • Assist other crew members with various tasks.

Essential Skills

  • General construction labor experience.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • 6+ months of construction experience.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Good attendance and reliability.
  • Capability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation to work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Ability to verify attendance and lifting capability through references.

Work Environment

The role involves working on commercial construction job sites, primarily outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions. Work hours are from 6:45 am to 5 pm, starting at the company shop and traveling to job sites in a company truck. While we aim to keep assignments in Madison, some travel may be required. The team size is 1-3 people. The dress code includes leather boots, high visibility shirts, and provided safety gear such as hard hats and safety glasses. Tools required include a tape measure, utility knife, pouches, and a hammer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00/hr.
