Part-Time CPA (with Opportunity to Grow into Tax Firm Management)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team in Maysville, KY. This is a part-time position with flexible hours (16–20 hours per week) and significant long-term potential . This is an On Site position. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position managing a future tax firm under our business umbrella .

About the Position:
As our Part-Time CPA, you’ll oversee financial operations across several small businesses, including automotive repair, property management, and service-based enterprises. Your work will include financial reporting, tax strategy and filing, and general accounting oversight. You’ll work directly with ownership to ensure our financial systems are solid, scalable, and compliant—laying the groundwork for future expansion into tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations

• Manage quarterly and annual tax filings, including payroll and sales tax

• Maintain clean and accurate general ledger entries

• Analyze cash flow, support budgeting, and assist with business forecasting

• Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen financial systems

• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax codes and financial regulations

• Collaborate with internal staff and outside advisors as needed

• Help develop the structure and workflow of a new in-house tax service

About You:
We’re looking for a licensed CPA who is not only technically proficient, but also forward-thinking and entrepreneurial. You should have strong attention to detail, a proactive work style, and the ability to work independently. Experience in small business finance, real estate, or multi-entity environments is a strong plus. You must be able to pass a background check and demonstrate integrity, discretion, and reliability.

Part-Time CPA Role:

• Flexible schedule: 16–20 hours per week

• Based in Maysville, KY with potential for partial remote work but must live within driving distance of Maysville KY
