Perlmutter Dermatology

Full time, 10 hour shifts Tuesday - Friday; No weekends

$19/ hour

Our  small, fast-paced private, physician-owned dermatology practice is looking for a  Medical Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist in patient flow.
• Take detailed medical histories, including reviewing medications and allergies.
• Ensure rooms are stocked and ready for exams and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Work with a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric patients.
• Scribe for doctors during patient visits to ensure efficient and accurate documentation.
• Support providers in delivering outstanding dermatologic care.
• Contribute to the team's overall efficiency and success.

• Previous medical assistant experience a plus.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Experience with  Modernizing Medicine (ModMed)  EHR is a plus!

Perlmutter Dermatology has two providers. Dr. Alexis Perlmutter is a board-certified Pediatrician and Dermatologist and cares for pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Perlmutter has been practicing in the Capital Region for 8 years. David Foster, RPA, has been practicing dermatology in the Capital Region for over 10 years.
