Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This is an advanced highly technical and professional environmental position that serves as the Project Manager responsible for multiple high-profile contaminated sites, including Superfund and State lead hazardous waste cleanup sites, and Drycleaning solvent contamination sites. Manages and tracks all phases of remedial action activities at assigned sites. As Project Manager incumbent is empowered with decision-making authority related to work at assigned sites.

Position of Special Trust Requirement:
This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP Directive 422, Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility. Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.
Applicable Job-Specific License or Certifications:
Must complete 40-hour OSHA safety training course within six months of employment and then attend annual refresher safety courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of regulatory inspection/compliance/permitting/cleanup or other related experience.
