Time & Attendance Administrator

The Time & Attendance Administrator is responsible for administering processes to support timekeeping and attendance tracking for salaried and hourly employees.

How you will make an impact:

• Assists and supports Manager of Administration
• Responsible for the administration of timekeeping and attendance (e.g. timecard approval, corrections, and exceptions) for hourly and salaried employees
• Accountable for timely and accurate processing of all time and attendance transactions, understanding current ADP processes and ensuring data integrity.
• Manage and monitor timecard approvals/ signoffs, data validation, historical edits, and generating/ exporting reports.
• Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner regarding payroll information and troubleshoots to resolve employee concerns.
• Analyze reports and deliver key trends and escalate issues appropriately.
• Takes initiative in identifying creative ways to approach existing processes.
• Builds and maintains schedules in a timely manner.
• Ensures that daily roster needs are met in an efficient manner, calls for shift coverage when necessary.
• Processes shift trades and day off requests in accordance with CBA.
• Monitors attendance phone line and updates accordingly
• Minimize redundancy in scheduling.
• Ensures efficient utilization of personnel.
• Other duties as necessary

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience required.
• Ability to deal with information that is highly sensitive and confidential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Effectively focuses on multiple tasks.
• Ability to interact well within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to details
• Strong analytical skills
• Must have flexible schedule availability to cover a 24 hour per day 7 day per week operation including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience working with multiple pay cycles preferred.
• ADP Time & Attendance system experience preferred.
• Experience in a complex, multiple employee group organization preferred.

• Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
