Job Title:  Fabricator/Welder 

Location:  Tonawanda, NY

Employment Type:  Direct Hire 

Compensation: $27.00-$33.00/HR, DOE

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 6AM to 2:30PM 

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled MIG Fabricator/Welder to fabricate parts and subassemblies for new paving machines. This is a full-time, first-shift position offering paid health insurance and additional benefits starting on day one.

What You'll Do:

• Fabricate, plan layout, assemble and weld according to blueprints, engineer's drawings and specifications with little to no supervision.
• Layout, Fit, Tack and Weld all work pieces together. Ensuring all dimensions are correct to specified drawings.
• Take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Correct fabrication mistakes.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Ability to read, interpret, and work independently from blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.
• Proficient in basic shop mathematics and the use of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and squares.
• Experience safely and effectively operating a variety of hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
