Are you a medical communications professional looking to make a global impact? A top-tier global pharmaceutical leader is seeking an Information Scientist III for a 6-month hybrid role based in Mettawa, IL (with flexibility for Florham Park, NJ or Irvine, CA). In this position, you will author, review, and maintain core medical information content, serving as a vital scientific bridge between US teams and European medical information partners.

responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and approve accurate global and region-specific medical content to address complex scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Summarize clinical literature, trial data, and treatment guidelines into compliant medical communications across assigned therapeutic areas.
- Oversee and support European outsourced medical information vendors to ensure high-quality inquiry management.
- Identify key global medical information insights based on inquiry trends and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital medical information solutions.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree along with graduation from an accredited Nursing, Physician Assistant, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD/DO program.
- Strong clinical understanding of disease states, clinical trial methodology, statistical concepts, and medical literature evaluation.
- Exceptional oral, written, and scientific medical writing skills in English.
- Proficiency with computer databases, software applications, and medical inquiry repository tools.
Preferred:
- Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, PhD, MD).
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault, Salesforce, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards.
