Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Locum Optometrist. Details are below.
Pay: $120.00/hour

• Housing and flights provided for the Optometrist

Optometrist Opportunity:

• Examine patient's eyes to detect vision problems, diseases, and other abnormal conditions
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and may prescribe drugs to treat eye disorders
• Engage in patient education regarding the care and treatment of eye conditions
• Optometrist must provide clinical eye care services in accordance to the hospital s mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the eye care profession.

Optometrist Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry
• Must have 2 years of experience
• Looking for a team-player

• Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage.
• No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency
