Immediate Openings – Full-Time & Part-Time Independent Contractors

BSMR Logistics is seeking reliable independent contractor delivery drivers who own a Cargo Van or Sprinter Van to provide last-mile residential package delivery services in the Atlanta area.

What to Expect

This is not food delivery or small parcel delivery. Drivers deliver oversized residential packages that require physical loading, unloading, and lifting throughout the day.

• Routes typically include 30–70 delivery stops, depending on customer demand, package volume and vehicle size.
• Most packages weigh 50–70 lbs, with possibility of some packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Packages are often bulky and require safe lifting, carrying, and maneuvering throughout your route.
• Drivers are responsible for loading, organizing, securing, and unloading their own cargo.
• Daily package counts and route availability may vary based on customer demand and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up packages daily from our Atlanta, GA warehouse.
• Safely operate your own Cargo Van or Sprinter Van while completing assigned delivery routes.
• Sort, load, organize, secure, and unload packages safely.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Verify delivery details, obtain customer signatures when required, and capture clear proof-of-delivery photos.
• Communicate delays or delivery issues promptly with dispatch.
• Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle and ensure it remains safe and roadworthy.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service during every delivery.

Vehicle Requirements

• Must own a Cargo Van or Sprinter Van in good operating condition.
• Packages are significantly larger than standard parcel deliveries, so your vehicle must have adequate cargo space to safely transport oversized freight.
• Drivers with larger cargo capacity may have opportunities to receive additional delivery volume based on daily freight availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid vehicle insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid SSN or ITIN.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Able to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs throughout the day.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with dependable attendance and communication.

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly pay after one weeks pay hold.
• Tiered pay scale. The heavier the packages the more you get paid per package.

• Structured last-mile delivery work, no rideshare, food delivery, or load boards.

Route Availability

• Routes are assigned based on customer demand and daily freight volume.
• Package counts and route availability may vary from day to day.
• Contractors who demonstrate strong reliability, communication, and consistent performance are typically given priority as additional routes become available.

Schedule

Full-Time

• Typically 5–7 days per week.

Part-Time

• Up to 4 days per week.

Schedules vary based on customer demand and route availability.

Pay Per Package  

up to 20lbs: $2.00

21 - 50lbs: $3.00

51 - 70lbs: $4.00

over 70lbs: $5.00
