What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality home repair and maintenance projects across multiple trades
- Represent TruBlue in customers' homes — clear communication, respectful conduct, clean work
- Walk customers through completed work, take before-and-after photos, and document jobs accurately
- Diagnose issues and propose the right solution for the customer
- Maintain your tools and job materials in clean, professional condition
- Uphold TruBlue's high standard of quality, safety, and customer care on every visit
Common Projects Include
- Bathroom and kitchen upgrades
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Flooring installation and repair
- General carpentry — trim, molding, built-ins
- Interior and exterior painting
- Basic plumbing and electrical work
- Tile installation and repair
- Door and window repair
- Deck, fence, and gate repair
- Senior safety upgrades — grab bars, ramps, accessible fixtures
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on residential home repair, remodeling, or general construction experience
- Broad multi-trade skill set with strong carpentry foundation
- Strong customer communication skills — comfortable in customers' homes
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and scheduling apps
- Punctual, dependable, honest, and professional in appearance and behavior
- Valid Texas driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and full toolset
- Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
