JOB TITLE: QA Testing Analyst: IV (Lead)- ETL Test Lead

Onsite in Dallas, TX or Minneapolis, MN or Easton, OH

This is a 3-month contract to hire position on W2

JOB DESCRIPTION

Client is looking for a QA Test Automation Lead in our Data Lake and Data Warehouse team. In this role you will be part of a team working to develop solutions enabling the business to leverage data as an asset at the bank. As a QA Test Automation Lead, you will work to develop automation test strategies and frameworks ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, working closely with multiple technologies teams across the enterprise. Key technologies include Azure DevOps, Python, AWS S3, Snowflake, Zena, and DataStage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance efforts for multiple concurrent projects focused on data ingestion and integration, ensuring alignment with banking regulatory standards.

1. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and secure data operations.

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering System Integration Testing (SIT) and closely partner with the team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

1. Collaborate with data engineers, developers, project managers, and compliance teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability throughout the ingestion lifecycle.

1. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes

1. Design and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy.

1. Create daily/weekly test execution metrics and status reporting.

1. Assist the Project Managers/Scrum Masters to drive project team to defect resolution.

1. Leverage existing tools/techniques to streamline and automate wherever possible.

1. Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance.

1. Actively participate in the review of project requirements, data mappings and technical design specifications.

1. Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues.

1. Collaborate with project team on defect analysis and triage.

1. Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree

1. 5+ years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment

1. 3+ years of test automation experience

1. 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS

1. 2+ Experience leading QA Analysts on a project team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services (banking) industry.

1. Strong experience with SQL, ETL testing, and data warehouse concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schema, OLAP)

1. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, or DBT tests.

1. Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS).

1. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).

1. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

1. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

Detail oriented and highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
