Job Description

Salary: $156,000 - 196,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• We require a bachelors degree in engineering, science, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need the ability to read, interpret, and create conveyor layouts with confidence.
• We look for strong analytical thinking, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support collaborative problem-solving.
• We require proficiency with computer applications, reading engineering drawings, and quickly adapting to new systems.
• We prefer candidates with experience as a conveyor engineer or in maintenance-focused roles.
• We value strong technical knowledge of process engineering, including plant layouts, process requirements, throughput, and simulation, especially in Body, Paint, and General Assembly environments.
• We prefer candidates with proven project management experience.
• We look for proficiency in AutoCAD and FactoryCAD for developing and revising designs.
• Familiarity with NX software or an understanding of its uses is a plus.

• We lead complex conveyor programs from engineering and fabrication through installation and start-up in our assembly plants across North America.
• We oversee multiple conveyor initiatives and equipment installations while ensuring compliance with our standards and safety expectations.
• We develop project schedules and manage the financial aspects of conveyor execution.
• We partner with engineers and suppliers to support delivery and resolve operational challenges.
• We apply lean design principles to reduce total cost while improving material presentation for assembly operations.
• We use our documentation, conveyor specifications, and engineering standards to guide execution.
• We create technical solutions for conveyor-related issues and monitor deliverables to keep projects on track.
• We support cross-functional work across internal teams and external partners as projects demand.
• We travel frequently, with travel requirements reaching up to 50% or more depending on project needs.
