Job Description

Company: ADS Dental System Inc.

Location: Ontario, CA (on-site)

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: [$45,000 – $60,000] Per year.

About ADS Dental System

ADS Dental System Inc. is a dental equipment company based in Ontario, California, supplying dental chairs, treatment units, sterilizers, and related equipment to dental clinics and dealers across the U.S. We're known for fast, customer-first after-sales support — solving problems quickly and getting our customers' equipment back up and running with as little hassle as possible.

We're growing our technical support team and looking for a dependable, people-oriented problem-solver to join us.

About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice our customers reach when they need help. Each day you'll handle inbound technical support calls from dealers and dental clinics, help them pinpoint what's wrong with their equipment, walk their technicians through the fix over the phone, and make sure the right replacement parts get shipped out fast.

This is primarily a phone-based support role — you won't typically be doing hands-on repairs in the field. Most issues are resolved by diagnosing the problem and shipping the correct part for the dealer's technician to install. You'll have the backing of our engineering team for tougher technical questions, and we provide training, so you don't need to be a dental equipment expert on day one — but you do need to enjoy learning how things work and helping people solve problems.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound after-sales technical support calls from dealers and dental clinics
  • Listen, ask the right questions, and accurately diagnose issues with dental chairs, treatment units, and related equipment over the phone
  • Guide dealer and clinic technicians step-by-step through repairs, clearly and patiently
  • Identify the faulty component and determine which replacement part is needed
  • Coordinate prompt shipment of parts and follow up to confirm the equipment is back in working order
  • Keep clear records of support cases and resolutions
  • Escalate complex technical issues to our engineering team when needed
  • Represent ADS at trade shows and industry events — including booth setup and breakdown — and discuss technical questions with customers and prospects (requires occasional travel)
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site support in rare cases (e.g., a key account or an issue a dealer cannot resolve). On-site visits are the exception, not the norm.

What We're Looking For

  • Based in Southern California; able to work on-site in our Ontario, CA office
  • Native English Speaker, or Excellent spoken and written English with clear, professional, and patient phone communication — this is a high-volume, phone-centered role
  • Strong customer-service mindset: patient, responsible, and genuinely helpful
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving instincts; comfortable learning the technical details of how equipment works (full training on dental equipment provided)
  • A fast learner who can absorb and retain product and repair knowledge
  • Reliable and organized, able to manage a steady flow of calls while keeping each customer's issue moving toward resolution
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Authorized to work legally in the United States

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience in technical/customer support, field service, or equipment repair
  • A hands-on mechanical or trade background (e.g., automotive, appliance, HVAC, medical/dental equipment)
  • Associate's degree or technical/vocational training in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with dental or medical equipment
  • Additional language skills are a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (see range above)
  • 401(k)
  • Medical insurance
  • Travel allowance for trade-show and event travel
  • Hands-on training in dental equipment, with ongoing support from our engineering team
  • A stable, full-time role with a supportive team and a growing company
