Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Documents patient status and care activities in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Maintains patient comfort and safety, adheres to infection control and safety practices.

Requirements
- Ability to deliver nursing care per the nursing process and established standards.
- Supervisory skills to direct activities of nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work a travel assignment for 8 weeks in an inpatient care environment.
- Endoscopy experience or exposure is preferred.
